Crowd Pleasing Dips: Sweet & Spicy

Pineapple Cream Cheese Dip

I am absolutely in love with this Pineapple Cream Cheese Dip! My sister gave me the recipe years ago and I try to squeeze it into every occasion possible. I have an incurable sweet tooth and the tangy flavor from the pineapple really perfects the dish.

Pineapple Cream Cheese Dip Recipe Pineapple Cream Cheese Dip is super easy to make, has no prep work and actually only takes a few minutes on the stove! You can make it ahead of time, put it in the refrigerator and then reheat it in the microwave when you are ready. Simply pour it over a block of cream cheese and it is ready to go! The heat of the dip softens the cream cheese into a delicious treat!

I always serve this dip with Wheat Thins, but if you have an alternate cracker, let me know! I’d love to hear!

Buffalo Chicken Dip

The second dip, Buffalo Chicken Dip, is a recipe from one of my husband’s wonderful cousins. We went to a family party this winter and she served it there. I am pretty sure the only thing I ate when I was there was this dip! Of course there were tons of other dishes, but this one satisfied every taste bud in my mouth! I went back for seconds, thirds, and well, I’m not saying what else!

You can adjust the heat in this Buffalo Chicken Dip with the amount of Frank’s Red Hot that you include. I put in two-thirds of a cup and that is absolutely all the heat this wimp can take! I don’t usually like dishes with heat, but this one is perfect! If you are super wimpy when it comes to heat, I would recommend only half a cup of the hot sauce.

I baked chicken breasts for the dip and then chopped them finely. My food processor has a recalled part and I am waiting for the new blade to come before I use it again. If you really don’t feel like baking chicken, you could probably buy a couple cans of chicken. I’ve never tried it, but I bet it would work!

Needless to say, I am in love with this dip! Like the Pineapple Cream Cheese Dip, I think the Buffalo Chicken Dip will soon be a regular in my lineup!
